Superior Formula = Superior Performance

Each glass of Racing Greens alkalising green drink contains much more than your daily greens. In fact, it exceeds the “5 a day” recommendation for fruit and vegetables, giving you the equivalent of SIX A DAY.

But that’s just the foundation of Racing Greens. It goes beyond typical supplements for cyclists. We’ve created a unique alkalising formulation that delivers powerful natural nutrients to optimise both your physical and mental performance. The key is in our carefully selected high-quality ingredients.

Greens Plus Custom Support for Cycling

Working with our team of personal trainers and nutritionists, we’ve assembled a formula specifically designed to support the needs of cyclists and maintain the body’s healthy pH balance. The intensity and duration of road racing demands power, stamina, and mental focus. Racing Greens supports you with key ingredients that help you go the distance.

Similar to wheatgrass, barley grass is the early growth stage of the barley plant. At this young stage, the plant is brilliant green in colour, and closer to a vegetable than a grain in composition. The grass is rich in phytonutrients, with both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Along with Chlorella and Spirulina, Barley Grass gives Racing Greens its “green power.”

Chlorella is a freshwater green algae rich in chlorophyll. Because chlorophyll is similar in structure to human hemoglobin, it supports the body in replenishing red blood cells. These oxygen-bearing blood cells are crucial to endurance training like cycling.

Spirulina is blue-green algae valued as a food source since ancient times. Recent studies have indicated that spirulina can increase endurance in athletes. As well as promoting more efficient fat-burning, it promotes antioxidant activity after exercise.

Studies have shown that green tea extract improves performance in endurance athletes. It’s thought that it works in a similar way to spirulina (above) by helping the body burn fat for energy, rather than
glucose. In addition, the moderate amount of natural caffeine in green tea provides a gentle energy boost without the crash of high-caffeine drinks.

Aside from its well-known value as an antioxidant , vitamin C offers special benefits for the demands of cycling and other intensive training. It promotes healthy blood pressure by helping blood vessels stay supple and flexible. And it reduces the occurrence of exercise-related bronchoconstriction — coughing and wheezing sometimes brought on by intense workouts.

Policosanol is a relatively new plant-derived supplement used to support cardiovascular health. It works by decreasing cholesterol production, improving the breakdown of LDL “bad” cholesterol, and promoting better circulation.

Also known as Barbados Cherry or West Indian Cherry, the Acerola fruit is a superfood worthy of the name. Rich in vitamin A, B vitamins, as well as bioflavonoids, it’s also one of the most highly-concentrated natural sources of Vitamin C.

Racing Greens contains a powerful blend of ingredients that support gut health — including the probiotic Bacillus Coagulans. These beneficial bacteria help to maintain a healthy balance of intestinal flora. This not only supports normal digestion, but can boost general immune system function, fighting infections and preventing disease.
